Before I Wake.

A couple adopted a child whose dreams and nightmares exhibits in real life as he sleeps.

“No one ever really goes away. Not completely. Because they live in our minds, and in our hearts.”

Before I Wake delivers an interesting and a unique plot which turns a fantasy themed film to a tragic horror movie that revolves around a peculiar child.

Mike Flanagan’s vision of the film is so diverse that pulls out a lot of possibilities however its strong points were also the film’s disadvantages as there were loose ends that has the potential to seal the movie.

A decent, family friendly horror with a bit of scare but more of a family drama that’s trapped inside a selfish agenda.
